Here is a partial list of books I’ve reviewed on Goodreads — click on the icon below to view them all.
They include childhood favorites, traditional Regency and sensual medieval romance, coffee table books on English manor houses, English luminaries in politics and art, plus a smattering of religious history.
My favorite Regency romance is Georgette Heyer’s Cotillion, a concoction of sophisticated hilarity. Out of all the historical romances listed, Lady of Fire by Anita Mills is the one I’ve read most repeatedly. Jane Austen’s Persuasion is sublime writing, passion exquisitely restrained–rebuking my efforts and yet somehow encouraging me to write more.

You are so welcome. This blog loves the Regency period in England. Regency folks loved Greek and Roman classical myths. And I love Medusa.
